My love of canoe building may be connected to my enjoyment of camping & canoeing in Algonquin Park. One Camping holiday I had 11 grandchildren (8 in diapers) on a canoe trip through Algonquin Park.

There's no life like it!

I retired in 1990 but even at age 80 building canoes is still a pleasure, not a job.

Directions

Roy Allman's Canoes is located just 3 km south of Huntsville, 100 metres north from Cashway Lumber (now Rona). Take exit Madill Church Road off Hwy 11 South. Only 20 minutes from Algonquin Park.
